Synopsis
Feeling betrayed by Louis J. Gasnier, director of the 1932 film Topaze with Louis Jouvet, Marcel Pagnol himself shot, in 1936, a new version of this fierce satire of modern times, with Arnaudy. Despite the favorable reception from critics, this film was not widely used.
