DVD and Blu-ray sets of "Manon des Sources" and "Ugolin"

The famous diptych by Marcel Pagnol will finally be available in DVD and Blu-ray sets, restored in 4K, starting from July 4, 2023.

“Manon des Sources” and “Ugolin” diptych, Marcel Pagnol’s cinematic testament, is a grand naturalistic fresco that encompasses elements of feminism, violence, and unforgettable dialogue by the filmmaker. The movies were shot in natural settings amidst the hills of Pagnol’s childhood. Balancing between drama and comedy, Pagnol presents an uncompromising portrayal of human nature along with a glimmer of hope for redemption.
