Regain (1937)

Synopsis

In an abandoned village, only Panturle still lives. All around, the land is dead and no longer produces anything. A grinder, Gédémus, arrives accompanied by a young woman, Arsule, whom he uses to pull his cart. The love that will be born between Panturle and Arsule will transform the destiny of the old village.
